One word: "Derp." A 152mm HE shell, if penetrated, averages 960 damage, and high rolls at 1200 damage. The KV-2’S reputations means it may get focused, and it doesn’t have the armor to bounce shots.Easily set on fire like the rest of the KV series.Its "fridge" turret is a massive, poorly armored target which most decent guns can pen from the side and back.The 152mm M-10 has awful gun handling (though The Hand of Stalin may result in near-impossible shots), as well as an excruciatingly long reload time.Other tanks mounting the 152mm can frontally penetrate your turret with HE if using the calibrated shells equipment slot.
As with many Soviet tanks, it's gun mantlet is hard to pen (although it does not cover the whole turret).The sight of the KV-2's large gun is known to strike fear into the hearts of tanks on the receiving end of its barrel.107mm ZiS-6 is a viable option, with better DPM and gun handling.152mm M-10 is the highest caliber gun on a Tier VI tank.
